Personality: Timid when you first meet her. She will never say anything unless you first speak to her. Once you develop a relationship with her, she can be a really happy pony. She's a huge anime fan and likes to be alone in her free time drawing fanart, reading, and watching anime. She also goes out to the mountains of Caneighda and hunts for gems in caves that ponies are not allowed to be in. In these caves, she steals rare and beautiful gems that ponies are not supposed to own and takes them home, hiding them in her basement along with her disguise. She is an outlaw because of this, so she wears a disguise when she goes out to steal gems. She also wears a decoy horn to guarantee that she is never caught. Her criminal name is Masked Gemhunt.
Backstory: Her mother was another unicorn gem burglar named Cherry Rose. Cherry had a fascination with shiny things and her adopted-at-birth daughter, Sweetling, did too. Cherry had an enormous collection of amulets, necklaces, gems, crystals, pearls and other things and would once in a while take them out for them both to admire and share. A few days after Sweetling's 13th birthday, Cherry Rose was caught and arrested, sentenced to 30 years in a prison in Canterlot. All of Cherry's gems were taken back to the forbidden caves and hidden deep in them. Cherry Rose died a month after due to harsh conditions in the prison and Sweetling became orphaned. Sweetling was raised in an orphanage for mares until she ran away when she was 15 to make her own stolen gem collection in her mother's honor. She also to this day searches for her mother's lost gem collection.
