Backstory: Inger has very little memory of her childhood due to an accident in which she randomly woke up in Death City, having absolutely no idea how she got there and barely remembering anything from before. The only hint of her past that she has is her stuffed bear, which she (probably) got from her parents. She was only 9 years old when this happened, so she was wandering Death City's streets for a while and would scavenge for food. One fateful day (Inger was 12 at this time), she decided to climb the DWMA's stairs out of boredom and actually managed to sneak in. Professor Stein found her walking around and the staff decided to let her stay as a student. 
Other bits of info:
-Inger is actually a grizzly bear witch and only found out recently (Stein always knew she was a witch, but he decided not to tell her).
-She has a rough time transforming into a bear when she wants to. Instead, it mainly happens when her protective tendencies kick in. For example, if a student is picking on one of her pals, there's a 35% chance she'll turn into a bear. 
-She really likes ice cream, pastries, and fish.
-Inger has an enormous crush on Faline. She also somewhat has the hots for Maka Albarn.
-Inger keeps calling Professor Stein "dad" by accident. He actually responds when she does this.
